Davis considers banning polystyrene foam restaurant to-go containers

The city of Davis is considering a ban on polystyrene foam food containers.

If approved, Davis would be the first city in the region to implement such a ban.

About 100 California cities and counties, mostly along the cost, have passed local bans to cut down on waste that can’t be recycled and doesn’t decompose.
