Laura is currently an Events Manager for Conway Events and in that capacity is responsible for their online marketing. She co-ordinates the company’s eshots, manages 3 websites, 3 twitter accounts, 2 Linkedin pages and two Facebook accounts and through this has developed a deep interest in and active knowledge of FDI marketing with a specific focus on social media. She regularly attends events and seminars to hear other marketing professionals’ take on the social media phenomenon and utilises this to keep ahead of the curve in online marketing.
Laura also graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne with a Bachelor of Laws and is well versed in Commercial EU Law, International Trade and Contract Law.
Laura makes mention of The Conversation Prism. Developed in 2008 by Brian Solis, is a visual map of the social media landscape. It’s an ongoing study in digital ethnography that tracks dominant and promising social networks and organizes them by how they’re used in everyday life.
