The Regional Business Talk Network (RBTN) is an interview based program delivering podcast interviews and supporting articles about Regional and Economic Business Development as well as unique and interesting businesses in identified regions.
We seek relationships with experienced interviewers, podcasters, journalists etc. to submit good quality, recorded interviews with business stakeholders along with supporting information. to be produced into RBTN podcast episodes. We term this initial relationship with interviewers as a ‘Cooperator Host’.
For interviews submitted by a Cooperator Hosts and subsequently produced into RBTN episodes, we pay the Cooperator Hosts according to this Payment Schedule:
Payments are in US dollars and made via Paypal within 30 days of the episode being produced and published.
The following sections define the terms and conditions under which Cooperator Hosts work with RBTN. These Terms and Conditions can be updated at any time without notice.
To be considered as a Cooperator Host for RBTN, you must submit a recorded interview and other required information via the forms provided on this site to enable RBTN to produce a high quality Podcast Episode and Show Notes.
It is the responsibility of the Cooperator Host to identify guests, conduct and record the interview using their own resources.
Previously recorded and published interviews that you have produced for your own podcast or other reasons are permissible but must meet all other requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
Guests being interviewed for inclusion on RBTN programs must have a business, business related product or service, or be able to talk on a business related subject.
Our goal at RBTN is to produce good quality, informative and entertaining talk programs in episodes of between 20 and 40 minutes. Each episode has a an overhead of approximately 10 to 15 minutes with non-interview content.
Each interview submitted by a (potential) Cooperator Host must be between 15 and 25 minutes. The dialog must be between yourself and a guest(s) on the subject of a business, product, service, application, book etc. The interview will ideally cover some aspect of Regional Business (doing business in a particular region) or Economic Development (growth and sustainability of a defined region), however interesting interviews without discussion of regional aspects will be considered as long as suitable Regional Meta-Data is included.
Submitted interviews must not include an embedded advertising or promotion other than for the guest or their related business, product, organization etc.
Submitted interviews must not include music.
No profanity is permitted unless appropriately edited.
The RBTN focuses on specific Regions (Countries, States, and defined economic development areas) and Themes (subject areas). These areas of focus are indicated in the submission forms and interviews that meet these criteria will generally be given higher priority.
All interviews and supporting material must be submitted using the forms supplied on the RBTN site. Initial submissions must be made
An automated acknowledgement will indicate successful submission of the form. RBTN will review all submissions and will respond only to those that are being considered for production.
The decision to accept, reject or defer the interview for inclusion in an RBTN program is the sole decision of RBTN.
Cooperator Hosts will be advised by email of the production and publication of any submitted content prior to or coincident with that publication.
Cooperator Hosts are remunerated in two ways:
By submitting content via any of the Cooperator Host forms on the RBTN website, the person making the submission declares that they are the copyright owner of all submitted content and that, upon acceptance by RBTN they irrevocably licence RBTN to use, modify, reproduce and otherwise utilize the content provided in any format, media or platform available to RBTN.
The person making the submission agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RBTN, it’s owners, directors, managers, contractors etc. for any breach of copyright as a result of using any of the submitted content.
