Victoria Hirschberg, Statewide Project Manager with the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and based in Nashville, joins our host Ed Burghard this week as he continues with the 40 Under 40 Rising stars in economic development series.
Victoria focuses on promoting Tennessee as an ideal location for work and life. When working with companies, Victoria focuses on defining deal structures that create a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership between the company and community.
From 2009 to 2011, Victoria served as the marketing director for the McAllen Economic Development Corporation in McAllen, TX. She led industrial recruitment and marketing for the McAllen, TX and Reynosa, MX areas. Victoria also developed the McAllen Economic Development Corporation’s first social media strategy, which won first place at the 2010 IEDC conference.
Prior to that, Victoria was a senior project consultant for Thomas P. Miller & Associates, a national economic development-workforce consulting firm.
